The HP ProOne 600 G1 will work fine as a somewhat high-end business all-in-one desktop PC. However, unless you're dead set against having touch screens in the hands of your users, the alternatives with touch are a better deal for the same amount of money.
Design and Features
The ProOne 600 G1 looks like a standard business all-in-one desktop; it resembles a thick widescreen LCD with built-in stereo speakers. The system is built into and around a 21.5-inch panel with a 1,920-by-1,080 resolution, which is perfect for both HD videos and wide spreadsheets. The display has an anti-glare coating, so it will work fine in bright office environments. That said, the lack of a touch screen is a detriment if your office is transitioning to a Windows 8 environment. Windows 7 Professional is fine without it, but new users, in particular, really need a touch screen to ensure any level of satisfaction. One nice touch for businesses is the shutter built into to the webcam; you can physically block the lens of the webcam to ensure privacy. (Some IT departments mandate such measures.)
One of the system's main differentiators is the fact that, unlike most other all-in-one desktops, it is very easy to get into for servicing. All it takes to pop the chassis open is a pair of tabs. Once open, IT techs can quickly swap the sled-mounted SSD for a hard drive, remove the DVD drive, or add memory to the single free SO-DIMM slot. That tech will need to bring the system to their work area for the more complicated CPU and graphics card service, but both components are accessible with the help of a screwdriver.
