The Apple iPad 5th Generation isn't getting any younger. It is a two year old tablet now. But Apple has announced that the device is compatible with iPadOS 13, which means you are getting a slick, up-to-date software experience and a fresh UI.
The performance is genuinely amazing, despite having only two gigabytes of RAM. The device will handle Need For Speed, Asphalt 9, PUBG, Clash Royale and many more with ease. Safari is sufficient, but I recommend downloading Google Chrome. It is a pretty good value proposition, especially when bought lightly used. But the camera is borderline garbage and the charging port breaks easily. The durability is poor as well. Buying a case and being gentle with the iPad 5th generation is the optimal way to keep the device running well for a long time- just don't think you're getting a Huawei P30-level camera, and you will be as satisfied as I am with the device.
