First up, the Inspiron 24 5000. This system, shown here in black, also comes in metallic silver. As you may have guessed from the name, the display measures roughly 24 inches diagonally (23.8 inches, to be exact). The screen bears a full HD resolution, but Dell will offer the screen in touch and non-touch variants. The resolution does max out at 1,920 by 1,080, so you'll have to look elsewhere for QHD or 4K. The picture looked pretty sharp, and Dell employs its combination of CinemaColor and CinemaStreaming for better color options and smoother video streaming.
However, since it's a PC, Dell also had to account for the keyboard. Rather than make the design bulkier with a slot or tray for the included keyboard, the stand is simply wide and tall enough for the keyboard to slide under the screen. It's not exactly hidden, but it looks neat and unified when stored underneath. If you're going to put this PC on a desk in your living room or study, or in your kitchen, you want it to blend in and not look cluttered. If "uncluttered" means "completely out of sight" to you, you could always put the keyboard in a cabinet or drawer and leave only the sleek PC out.
The soundbar-style stereo speakers are another TV-like addition. This will no doubt excite some shoppers, even if the soundbar is not up to the level of a true one sought out by audiophiles. I didn't get to crank up the speakers in the preview space. But I have more than a suspicion that the audio will sound better than what comes from your average built-in AIO or monitor speakers.
